The U.S. Travel Association’s International Pow Wow hosted in San Francisco last weekened was and is the travel industry's premier international marketplace and the largest generator of Visit USA travel. The Travel Association estimates hosting the Pow Wow in San Francisco will generate $350 million from tourism for the city through 2014.
Over 1,100 overseas tour operators and 450 media attended the convention from 70 countries. There were 3,500 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees in house at the Moscone Center.
