Lobbies get interactive

Courtyard by Marriott is now instituting 55-inch touch screens in its lobbies to offer business travelers hands-on control of the information they wish to access such as weather, local news, flight statuses, sports and more. Marriott has already rolled out the new screens at 325 hotels and plans to have stations in all 830 U.S. properties. The GoBoard idea came to Marriott in an effort to position their lobbies as more of a destination and 'hang-out' space rather than a post check-in expressway to their rooms.
